This video work presents a seemingly empty seascape—quiet, suspended, almost timeless. Gradually, bubbles rise to the surface, followed by a distant call to prayer, as if emerging from beneath the water, suggesting a submerged architecture or a memory held below visibility.
The work reflects on what may persist as physical landscapes are altered or erased by rising sea levels. As environmental thresholds are crossed, built structures, borders, and markers of civilization dissolve, leaving behind intangible traces—sound, belief, and the enduring human need for meaning.
