Cover-Up! reimagines Marilyn Monroe’s subway-grate scene from The Seven Year Itch (1955), replacing Monroe with an Arab male figure whose identity and gender expression remain intentionally ambiguous. The soundtrack remixes the original audio, echoing the transformation on screen. The installation includes a heavy-duty industrial fan, referencing the famous updraft.
