Unfitted follows a tailor as he prepares his tools and carefully measures miniature figurines—characters who have abandoned their ancient home, the Standard of Ur. With clinical precision, he records each body as if preparing to remake them through contemporary clothing.
These actions echo the quiet labor of adaptation: displaced identities reshaped to meet new cultural expectations. The gestures are gentle yet unsettling, revealing how uprooted individuals are often asked to adjust, modify, or conceal parts of themselves in order to “fit” within dominant norms.
