Adel's popular video installation Memorial is currently being featured in the group exhibition Home Ground: Contemporary Art from the Barjeel Art Foundation. The show just opened at Aga Khan Museum Toronto, Canada, and will continue until January 3rd of 2016.

Starting from Tuesday December 16th Adel Abidin will have an exhibition at the Sultan Gallery in Kuwait City. The artist’s recent video installation Cover-up! will be presented. The opening reception will take place from 7 to 9PM and the artist will be present.

Abidin was commissioned to create three installations for the Flow Festival that explore human rights, segregation and gender issues. The installations attest to Abidin's ability to examine difficult issues, such as cultural alienation and discrimination, through irony and humour.

The Flow Festival is held in Suvilahti, Helsinki, from 8-10 August 2014.

The Station Museum of Contemporary Art in Houston has announced the major exhibition Collective Reaction. Among the six solo exhibitions featured in the event, Adel Abidin will present his critically acclaimed installation Three Love Songs. The exhibition will open on Sunday, March 16, 2014, from 3 pm to 7 pm with music & refreshments. The exhibition is a part of the Fotofest 2014 Biennal.

I Love To Love..., Adel Abidin's eagerly anticipated solo exhibition in Finland after his acclaimed show at Kiasma in 2010 will open next Thursday 31.10. from 5 until 8pm at Forum Box in Helsinki. The show curated by Nat Muller will be open until 24.11.2013. An artist talk will be held on the 14th of November at 19:00-21:00.

Adel Abidin is participating to the group exhibition The Unanswered Question. İskele 2 at the TANAS art space and the Neuer Berliner Kunstvereinin, from September 8 until November 3 2013 in Berlin. Curated by René Block, the show is taking Turkey as a starting point to develop a transnational dialogue through the other countries of the region.

The opening will take place on Saturday, September 7 from 5pm at TANAS and from 7pm at Neuer Berliner Kunstvereinin.

Adel Abidin is having a new solo exhibition named Blueprint starting from March 11th at the Maraya Art Center in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

The exhibition echoes the architectural and engineering practice of producing an actual blueprint for an imaginative machine that creates a production assembly line that would exist in an industrial factory. This exaggerated large scale (20meters * 2.6meters) drawing and its overbearing sound component transform the gallery into a mock factory setting.
