On Lives… argues the instinct to survive is as basic and unquestionable as death to human nature. Shortsighted humans continue to hope to prolong their lives, by seeking drug intervention packaged in plastic death. Inspired by the one material on earth that does not die: plastic, I question the narrow view of humanity on “life,” wondering whether it is more important to live or to die.
