The Revolt – (chapter V)
A Glimpse is a new chapter within The Revolt project, expanding Unmatched Narratives into a collaged work on paper.
The work brings together a modified early map of colonial forces, a seascape, and an archival chart once used to record enslaved people—counting those captured, alive, or dead. These elements collide within a single surface, where geography, administration, and loss overlap.
The selected imagery is intended to evoke the sensation of a final glimpse of one’s land—a threshold moment where life is irreversibly redirected.
