This double-sided illuminated sign reconstructs the Coca-Cola logo in response to a baseless conspiracy theory circulated by some fanatics, claiming that the logo, when mirrored, reveals an anti-Islamic message in Arabic: “No Muhammad! No Mecca!”

By flipping the logo, the negative interpretation is transformed into a playful and affirmative one: “To Muhammad! To Mecca!”

This gesture turns the conspiracy on its head, exposing how meaning can be manipulated through perspective and projection. The work highlights the instability of interpretation—the way symbols shift depending on cultural lenses, belief systems, and the viewer’s expectations.
