PING PONG

Video clip – original video; 03:44 min

Ping Pong depicts two players locked in an endless match, consumed by their struggle for dominance. Unaware of the consequences of their actions, they volley back and forth while nude female figures, symbolizing the city of Baghdad—lie motionless beneath them, forming the net of the table..

Every strike leaves red marks and bruises on their bodies, yet the players continue without pause. The repetitive impact transforms the game into a metaphor for political power struggles that inflict harm on civilian life, particularly on the most vulnerable, who bear the consequences in silence.
