Translating into drawing animation children’s dreams from conflict-affected regions such as Iraq and Palestine to further our understanding of the psychological landscapes shaped by conflict.
The children’s own silhouettes appear within the projection space, activating their dreams by covering and uncovering their eyes as they face the projection surface. With each loop of the installation, their movements evolve: the children begin to roam through the space, “stealing” one another’s dreams and merging them with their own. As these exchanges unfold, the entire dream-scape shifts—blending hope, fear, imagination, and borrowed memories into an ever-changing collective narrative.
