The show curated by Başak Şenova is organised as a combination of three distinctive solo exhibitions by three different artists. Artists exhibited alongside Adel are Rosa Barba and Runa Islam.

Five recent works of Adel Abidin will be presented at the new exhibition Solo show at the Wharf Contemporary Art Center in Hérouville Saint-Clair in France from the 8th of October until the 3rd of December 2010.

The BBC One recently broadcasted a documentary about Iraqi contemporary arts after the re-opening of the Iraq pavilion at the Venice Biennale this summer. Imagine: Iraq in Venice is directed by Jill Nicholls and part of a series dealing with arts presented by Alan Yentob. The documentary features various interview segments with Adel Abidin in his studio or working at the Iraqi pavilion.
